CANADIAN LITERATURE: AN OVERVIEW is a humble attempt to present Indian responses to Canadian Literature Poetry, Short story, Fiction, Drama and Comparative aspect. The 21 contributors (working in 14 Indian Universities), have enriched this book by way of their valuable research and findings. Canadian poets like Claire Harris, E.J. Pratt, Raymond Souster have been taken for study by three contributors in addition to a study of landscape in Canadian poetry. Some Canadian short stories have been approached from a feminist streak.
The 21 critical essays evaluate the various aspects of Canadian experience in a simple style to help the students, researchers and teachers of Canadian literature.
